Kavalan Solist Rum Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky is a unique inspiration created by Kavalan's Master Blender, Ian Chang. The whiskey has aged in a barrel of rum previously held, imparting a distinct complexity and balance. This whisky offers a rich nose profile of butterscotch, brown sugar, orange peel and vanilla, evolving into cherry, candied peels and white pepper spice, on the palate. Bottled at a barrel content of 57.1% ABV, it allows the addition of water to enrich the profile with dark chocolate, ginger, oak, soft fruits and creamy aftertaste.
