Comtes de Champagne Rosé consists of 30% Chardonnay Grands Crus from the most famous Côte des Blancs terroirs combined with 70% Pinot Noir originating from the Montagne de Reims Grands Crus. The 12% Pinot Noir is fortified with red wine from Bouzy Pinots, whose somewhat long maceration ensures a wonderful tannic structure with fruit aromas of red and black berries.
In color it dresses up in an elegant bright salmon pink. A hint of copper reflections accentuates the fine, creamy bubbles in this exceptional champagne. The nose is both delightful and fresh, emerging aromas of raspberry, black cherry and peach and pear jam. In the mouth the incredibly fine, tannic structure and subtle salinity reveal the full strength of the limestone from the Grand Crus terroirs and are complemented by the wonderful acidity of the chalk. Comtes Rosé is handled with great care and attention until it reaches your glass and before being exposed to the light it will have spent more than 12 years aging in the heart of Saint-Nicaise in chalk cellars dating back to Franco-Roman times. a maturation that allows this bottle to develop great aging potential.
Ideal champagne to accompany gourmet cuisine. It is the perfect combination for white meats as well as lobster dishes. It also combines wonderfully with the intense flavor of certain aging cheeses such as Comté or Chaource.
