Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2011 is a mythical cuvée, representing the quintessence of Maison TAITTINGER.
This champagne is exclusively elaborated from Chardonnay and sourced from the greatest crus of the famous Côte des Blancs.
Despite a challenging 2011 vintage (difficult maturity in Champagne area), this cuvée holds brilliantly its promises, thanks to the Grands Crus.
Following a very slow raising period of 8 to 10 years in the chalky cellars of Saint-Nicaise, this exceptional cuvée enters the light. Bubbles are fine, delicate and creamy. The nose unveils gourmand notes of licorice, gingerbread and meringue. This wine offers great mineral power. The palate is generous and very charming.
This champagne is aimed at the greatest celebrations, it perfectly matches a seafood starter, fine crustaceans or fishes.
