Grana Padano is a popular solid Italian cheese.
The cheese has a salty, spicy taste with a light walnut hue. Garnet falls back to Parmesan but, unlike it, is produced not only in the Emilia-Romagna region but also in other areas of Italy. Another difference is with Parmesan - in its production is allowed milk from cows fed with feed.
Grana Padova is consumed both on its own and as an addition to red wines, classic pasta recipes, some salads and other dishes.
