A mythical wine, a real ambassador not only of Barbera but also of Italy in the world. The best known and most imitated Barbera, the result of careful vinification in steel followed by a slow maturation in barriques for about a year. A further period of rest in the bottle leads to an elegant and voluminous, soft and balanced, very long glass. The Barbera d'Asti DOCG "Bricco dell'Uccellone" by Braida di Giacomo Bologna is a large red that takes its name from an old lady who lived not far from the cellar and who, always dressed in black, was nicknamed "l'uselun ”(the big bird).
This wine goes perfectly with the whole meal, roasts also with sauces, aged cheeses, it goes well with large meat dishes.
