The French variety Petit Verdot which literally means "little green" is said to be so named because it is a variety that is slow to ripen, especially in cold climates, such as for example in Bordeaux, where due to its strong characteristics it is used in a very small percentage in blends of the wines of the left bank.
The creators of the winery are Greek origin Konstantinos Krontiras and his wife Silvina, while the oenological "reins" are masterfully held by the international oenologist Panos Zoumboulis, who from the beginning of his collaboration with Bodega, introduced the principles of biodynamic cultivation in the vineyards.
