Quite "shy" at first, until it gradually reveals the gorgeous, elegant and perfectly embodied aromas of cassis, grapefruit, pear and blooming herbs. It gently exudes spices on the palate and exudes freshness and elegance, as the acidity is perfectly balanced between fruit sweetness and minerality. The balance and elegance are simply amazing. It will take time to develop fragrantly, but it is still the result of a great living tradition of a Scharzhofberger Kabinett. It can be aged up to 2040.
